Title : Young Person's Guide to Trafficking

Abstract : This guide contains questions and concise answers about trafficking in children and young people for sexual purposes. It briefly defines ECPAT International, a child, commercial sexual exploitation of children and trafficking. Title : Ensuring Meaningful Child and Youth Participation in the fight against CSEC: the ECPAT Experience

Abstract : The meaningful participation of children and young people (CYP) in combating commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) is an integral part of ECPAT’s work. As a network of child rights organisations, it not only ensures that we are fulfilling a basic right of children to be able to express their views in decisions concerning them (Article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child) but we see clearly how it strengthens our programming and advocacy work and makes us more accountable to the children we work for. This report illustrates that the participation of children and young people occurs at many different levels within our global network: from the design, development, management and monitoring of programmes at the grassroots level to policy influencing and advocacy at national, regional and international levels. Abstract : The Youth Partnership Project (YPP) for child victims of commercial sexual exploitation in South Asia is a unique initiative that endeavours to have a positive psychosocial impact and improve the lives of affected children. Title : Good Practices for Working with Experiential & At-Risk Youth

Abstract : This pamphlet provides introduction to the Youth Partnership Project for Child Survivors of Commercial Sexual Exploitation and the roles of people involved in the YPP project such as youth facilitators, national coordinators, social workers, youth advocates, peer supporters, caregivers, and ECPAT’s YPP project coordinator. Then it briefly explains how good practices are identified; presents experiences of youth involved in the projects; and identifies issues that contribute to the success of experiential and vulnerable youth’s participation in action against commercial sexual exploitation of children. Abstract : This brochure explains some of the main words ECPAT use when talking about the commercial sexual exploitation of children such as prostitution of children, child pornography, trafficking of children for sexual purposes and child sex tourism. Young people can use this brochure to fight against the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) writing articles and letters, joining youth organizations and standing up for children’s rights.
